I admire both paintings, because they are my preference, but i recongnize that the painting "Bosque" by the painter Jose Perotti es my favorite, for the following characteristic: abstract desing, dark colors, the visual impression that causes to be observed and because creates mystery and curiosity.

Van Gogh is from the late 19th century and Da Vinci is a Renaissance figure. Although they were from different period, but these two great artists do have some in common. For example, In their approach to art, both of them are very linear.

Leonardo wanted to convey the scene or event that has been requested of him, but Vincent had no desire to convey any scene. Van Gogh wanted to express himself through his paintings which are very abstract and not easily rendered as images
of scenes or events. The biggest difference between Da Vinci and Van Gogh is that the later's work pulsates and demonstrates vigor. Da Vinc, however, used very subtle tones and strokes to create his art. No matter how difference in their approaches, both of them offer us the same thing which is the revelation of the inner consciousness at work within us.

Both works are amazing
1."The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci" is a mural is a beautiful work, where we can remember a fact of real life, which took place many years ago.
Leonardo used real people as models for the characters in the mural. He even portrayed himself, some people say that sometimes stood still holding the brush from dawn to dusk, painting constantly and forgetting to eat and drink. Other times it don't touched the brush for two, three or four days, but he spent several hours in front of the work, with his arms folded, quietly examining and weighing the figures.
2. "The parasol" This painting is about a woman sitting on the ground, possibly resting from a long walk. She is dressed in French style, according the time period. She is holding a fan in her right hand, while a little dog is cuddled in her lap. The young man is holding the parasol (umbrella) in order to shade the woman's face.
I have to say that the firs work shows more effort, feelings…
I think that contemporary art is better than modern art, because, people dedicated more time, and the works has beautiful finishes.

my opinion in the classical art (La Gioconda) of the Sistine Chapel expresses things more natural, realistic vision and selfless, where the artist shows an image, color, and others with the subtle touch of Greco-Roman culture, something excessively understandable and not abstract.
while modern art (Novecento) by Maurizio Cattelan express something without substantiation, that the only thing that is sought is to give an astonishing image but is not art, because everything referred to as geometric shapes that do not express any feeling, cartoon or culture traits and just combine things that are already made or just copies it.
The Vault of the Sistine Chapel was painted between 1508 and 1512 by Michelangelo and is one of the most complex paintings and most beautiful in the history of art, commissioned by Pope Julius II tells stories of Genesis from the end of the altar to the front door of the chapel over 500m2 of space, is the history of the world and mankind before the coming of Christ.

In the work (Madame Recamier), we can see the inside of a scenario with a naked woman holding a artificial light. Although the work "paradise" there is also a woman who leaves naked (Eva) in this you can see more clearly that whoever was naked was a woman, in addition to the work (madame) is not understood very well what is it that one wants to express, in contrast to the other work shows us the sin of Adam and Eve.In addition this work has a good background it is clearly understood that it was in the forest that the events occurred, while the other image not refers to the place where is located the woman.

The first work is very peaceful tones are very clear and reflects peace, in the second work shows much stronger with aggressive colors.

the style used by each artist, according to the time.

Leonardo Da Vinci: La Gioconda Vs Fernando Botero: Mona Lisa a los doce años, 1977.
I compared these two works since many artists have done with the same artistic interventions. In addition to this because Fernando Botero and Leonardo da Vinci was born in April.
La Gioconda or Mona Lisa, is a work of a woman's enigmatic smile and glance, the portrait of Lisa Gherardini, born in Florence in May 1479 and wife of Francesco del Giocondo, a wealthy silk merchant. The features that have been commonly considered the most striking in this painting are the eyes and the smile of the woman, her gaze is able to settle in all eyes, while her mysterious smile reflects sadness and happiness at the same time. Also, the figure contrasts with a flowing landscape background in which the distance is the bed of a river.
